"Que sera, sera" is an ungrammatical but widely used English phrase meaning "what will be, will be" or "whatever will be, will be". It expresses a philosophy of fatalism, suggesting that future events are predetermined and cannot be controlled. Although it resembles Spanish or Italian, it has almost no history in those languages and is primarily found in English contexts, most famously in Doris Day's 1956 song.
