This oval pendant contains Rocky Butte Picture Jasper showing a landscape scene with a muted blue-green sky and, tan, pink, and brown jasper below. Topped with a 925 sterling silver bail which allows the full beauty of the stone to show, with a wide opening to allow for most size chains/clasps feed through.

Its extraordinary color banding and veined flow patterns are created by petrified or silicate mud and sometimes dendritic inclusions. Because of its unique landscape patterns and wide range of colors, Picture Jasper is one of the most sought-after and famous varieties of jasper.
