Vibrant Blue "Botryoidal Gearksutite and Cupro-Allophane" - China

This is a 1.22" wide, vibrant blue, botryoidal formation of Gearksutite (pale blue) and cupro-allophane (copper-rich allophane - darker blue), collected from the Laochang ore field (Laochang Mine) in the Yunnan Province of China. 

A botryoidal formation of Gearksutite is a rare mineral structure where Gearksutite crystals grow in a rounded, grape-like cluster. This occurs when multiple Gearksutite crystals radiate outwards from multiple nucleation points, creating a bubbly, spherical, or semi-spherical appearance.
